Next, we can add tables from the CAUSER schema by either manually selecting the tables (using the left icon, Select tables option) or by allowing the Cognos system to process the table rows (using the right icon, Discover related tables option) which then automatically displays the most significant words to be used as shown in Figure 5-41.

We can click the word we wish to use as the keyword using the mouse button (I selected status in Figure 5-41). Then click the Next command button on the bottom right of the screen.

The system selected the CAUSER.F_Ceevents Fact table from the CASTORE1 OLAP database. We can now add additional tables as required using the Add more tables menu option as shown in Figure 5-43.

The required tables can be selected/deselected by clicking the tick box shown to the right of each Table name in the list; this list also shows any Views which may have been created.

On first selecting a table, as shown in Figure 5-46, the Refresh command button in the central panel is clicked in order to display the table row data.

The rows loaded from the Linux CASTORE Events database for the IBM Case Manager are then displayed as shown in Figure 5-47.

The CAUSER.D_Dmtasktype Dimension table is also selected as shown in Figure 5-48.

The validation of the Data module is selected as Automatic which monitors changes as they are edited to provide fast feedback of any errors to the user.

The final selection of tables is highlighted in the left panel in Figure 5-50, and the Data module we have created, with these tables selected, can now be saved as CaseLoad in the My content tab root location. You can see that we have also created a Folder called CaseAnalytics under the My content root.

After the Save command button is clicked, the Data module, CaseLoad, is now shown and is ready to be used in charts in a new Cognos Dashboard.

In the New dashboard Cognos frame, we can load the Datasource module, CaseLoad, highlighted in Figure 5-51, and drag and drop the required measure fields for analysis and display in the Cognos frame.
